Allergan XEN™ Launch Meeting

This a special launch event for the new XEN™ Glaucoma Gel Implant.

Glaucoma Surgeons from across the country will come to meet the experts and rethink glaucoma management.

Invited experts include:

Professor Ingeborg Stalmans, who heads the Glaucoma Unit at the University Hospitals in Leuven, Belgium. Prof Stalmans current research spans medical glaucoma therapy and wound healing following glaucoma surgery as well as corneal healing. She has extensive experience implanting XEN and is a lead investigator in the key ongoing XEN clinical study.

Associate Professor Andrew White is a clinician scientist ophthalmologist at Westmead Hospital and was lead author of the RANZCO endorsed guidelines for collaborative management of Glaucoma. He has had early access to XEN in Australia and is trained in XEN Expert Principles.

Associate Professor Michael Coote is a senior consultant ophthalmologist at the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital and has been developing ground breaking work on why glaucoma surgery does not always work the way we would like it to. He has had early access to XEN in Australia and is trained in XEN Expert Principles.

The program includes a mix of plenary sessions from our experts along with practical workshops.
